“Marlins left way too many guys on base. 14. The Rangers had a total of 4 hits, and 2 of their 4 runs were the ghost runners in extras. This game shouldn’t have been close and definitely shouldn’t have gone twelve innings. Finally got the lead in the 10th to give up a game tying bomb and then won it in 12 innings. Technically, the Marlins playoff hopes are still alive. They need the Mets to go 1-7 and to go 7-1 themselves. It’s not gonna happen but man would it be cool if it did.”
