“THIS IS ALL MY FAULT. Where’s that Geno Smith meme when I need it? Silly me for thinking my heart knew anything about basketball. I have nobody else to blame but myself and my stupid brain for not realizing that sooner. Sorry, I needed to get that out. Now for the game itself: it sucked and I hated every second. This was another intriguing matchup. Both teams have waited decades to win another National Championship. Both came into this game with arguably their best teams since their last National Championship. It looked like that, regardless who won, we’d get a good game or at least a pretty good one. Instead, we got a fucking dud. The disappointment factor is massive with this one and my rating is low because of it. This is the 14th 18+-point blowout in the Final Four in the last 50 years. Michigan just completely dominated from beginning to end. When Michigan took a 9-point lead 2 and a half minutes in, Arizona never made it closer than a 7-point game again. Wildcats had no chance.”
