“Unfortunate about Ranger having to leave the game, but the offense showed up and the bullpen did well to maintain the win. Willson with 20 homers on the season continues to prove his unofficial all-star status. Some pretty solid base-running with a double steal leading to some runs in the 7th. Felt like everyone contributed. Could've done even more damage but Narvaez's bat just isn't where it was last season. But hey, a win is a win. Even if this doesn't lead to sustained success for Boston, it at least proves they aren't the worst team in the league.”
