@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Senators vs Hurricanes

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Senators vs Hurricanes game 9.4 out of 10 in NHL on April 20, 2026. Final score: Senators 2 – Hurricanes 3. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

This game was absolute calamity. Linus Ullmark and Frederik Andersen were both on fire in a back-and-forth game that wasn’t far from becoming a rare triple OT game. Logan Stankoven continued his wonderful start to the playoffs with his 2nd (should be 3rd) goal of the playoffs just 6 minutes in. Carolina was doing their thing, blitzing their opponent until they beat them into a fine paste. However, Ottawa wasn’t interested in laying down this time. After Carolina scored a 2nd goal to double their lead, Ottawa responded with their first goals of the playoffs in quick succession. All of a sudden, the Senators began to dictate pace. After an even 3rd, we got overtime and the calamity truly began. It looked like Mark Jankowski won it, only for it to be disallowed with the caveat of a penalty shot. Linus Ullmark made a huge save on that shot and overtime continued. Finally, Carolina scored, as the man who was stopped on the penalty shot ended the game and achieved redemption. Awesome game.
