ABSOLUTE CINEMA People might look back and say “oh what’s so special about a long playoff game” but beyond the winner-takes-all context, the real specialness of this game was that something different happened every inning. Were the offenses inept to some disagree? Definitely, but every inning there was a new and exciting way that both teams’ pitching staffs got out of their situations. The pitching performance of Eduard Bazardo in particulal cannot be understated as probably the finest relief pitching appearance so far this postseason, I have rewatched his called strike 3’s countless times. An instant classic of a playoff game, nuff said.
