@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Flames vs Blues

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Flames vs Blues game 7.2 out of 10 in NHL on November 12, 2025. Final score: Flames 2 – Blues 3. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

No single play defines this Flames season better than the 3rd Blues goal. Blues get a breakaway on a well placed chip pass, Wolf makes a great save on the breakaway, Joel Hanley then comes barreling in, takes out Dustin Wolf and leaves the net open for a Nathan Walker backhand. We are literally hampering Wolf, way too often directly and seemingly intentionally. I said this in a previous rating, but I really need the Flames to stop landing on Wolf’s back, it’s fortunate that Wolf hasn’t gotten seriously hurt yet. It appeared that 3rd Blues goal was a wake up call for the Flames as Coronato and Ras both scored, but they couldn’t tie it up despite drastically playing better in the 3rd. I don’t want this to just be my bitter ramblings; so let’s talk about Binnington. He broke the Blues’ franchise record for games played by a goalie in style with a win. While he couldn’t get the shutout, he made many crucial saves in the 3rd to hang on. This is where Blues fans thank Eric Brewer in unison.
