First walk off grand slam in World Series history. Boone’s managerial career could be over after this series. He intentionally walked Betts with two outs to bring Freeman up. He also put in Nestor Cortes in to pitch without touching the mound for over a month. Tim Hill was a better option that he didn’t choose. One pitch to Freeman and the game ended, but not in the Yankees favor.
