“This team just continues to be the most infuriating in the MLB. Again, the hitting is embarrassing. Sure, Abreu and Anthony hit a couple homers late to make it look close, but the offense yet again did nothing. Tough outing for Garrett Crochet and we fall to 1-5. I just don’t know what this team needs to turn it around but they need to figure out something, because it is BAD right now. Home opener on Friday against San Diego, they desperately at least need to pick up 1 game in that series, but really they should be taking 2 against a Padres team thats one of the worst looking in recent memory. I mean, imagine this offense had a guy like Rafael Devers, or even Alex Bregman. I mean there’s no way the moneyball Red Sox could have a guy like that. Or at least the way Craig Breslow runs the team you’d think they were in Moneyball. Maybe spend some fucking money and we’ll be good for once.”
