“Breaking news: the Colorado Avalanche support the No Kings protest. In other news, what a game this really was. Forsberg was in the zone in the first 2 periods, looking for hockey's equivalent of a perfect game, a 30+ save shutout. Wedgewood was doing his goalie job well too, but Forsberg was easily doing more impressive. Unfortunately, Lehkonen got one through and it opened the floodgates for O'Connor to score early into the third. Now, what I was going to say here is that the Kings couldn't score on power plays, but then Panarin scored as the king of spite will do, and kept the Kings no shutout streak. In all, good game to kick off Day 2. The Kings will sure damn try, but they won't take down the scoring champions in round 1. Avs in 6.”
