The Blue Jays bounce back exactly when they had to. Julio Rodriguez gets the party started once again and it was looking like the Jays would get blown out again. But their Jays not only rallied back into it, but they grabbed the game by its horns. Absolutely pelting George Kirby and almost every Mariners reliever that came in after him. It started from an unexpected source in Giménez and helped out by the expected sources in Vladdy and Kirk. Meanwhile, Shane Bieber, after giving up the lead, had a vintage performance that reminded me of his years with Cleveland, carving through the Mariners lineup as the lead got bigger and bigger. Some late homers from the Mariners couldn’t put a dent in the Jays lead as they took this easily. Although I’m rooting for the Mariners to win this series, I’m very happy this series ain’t ending in a sweep.
