“The fact that this game ran until about 1:15 AM EST doesn't the fact that this was so refreshing to watch. A team who had struggled with RISP on a level I didnt even know was possible finally got the job done, even without the production from the top 2 bats in the lineup. Seeing Fransico Alvarez start to pull the ball more is wonderful (still dont know why the hell Eric Chavez wanted him to hit the ball to the opposite field), and Bo Bichette showcase why the Mets gave him $126 Million to quell the doubts is great. Overall, the game was a snoozefest after the 6th, so it should be rated too high (my bias has it around a 6/10), but I think this is a step in the right direction even if Juan Soto is gonna miss a few games.”
