“Portland and LAFC has continued to be an exciting match up over the years. I know San Jose is considered Portland’s main non cascadia rival, but to me LAFC is my most hated team outside of the PNW. For LAFC I’ll say that Bouanga is almost always the best player on the pitch whenever I watch him; today that was no different. He didn’t have a goal, but his control with the ball and his athleticism is almost unparalleled in MLS. Also that teenager they’ve got had a screamer. Velde played an absolutely brilliant game from start to finish. Surman was also good. Neville is barely holding on right now, but he’s earned the right to coach another week. ”
