It’s Duck Season in the semi-final (shoutout GeneralDumm for that one). For the first time ever, the Indiana Hoosiers will play in the National Title game and have a real chance to win their first ever D1 Football Title. The Hoosiers made an immediate statement with a pick 6 on the very first play from scrimmage. Looking at the final score, that play was definitely a sign of things to come, but it didn’t look like it would be initially. The Ducks responded to that adversity with a long touchdown drive. Even though Indiana took the lead back before the end of the 1st, I thought this was gonna be a shootout. I was wrong. Indiana ripped down the Rabbit season sign like they were Bugs Bunny and spent the rest of the game proving it was Duck Season. Forced turnovers and efficient drives became the theme for Indiana in this game and it ran Oregon out of the building. Unlike a certain SEC school, the Ducks didn’t lay down, but even the smallest bits of hope were squashed and shot quickly.
