“Ranking Random Games Anyone Gives Me Part 3: Absolute shocker. Georgia Tech came into this 8-0 and ranked #8. NC State and GT went back and forth in the first half, ending win NC State up 24-17. In the second half, NC State went ahead by 15, and despite GT's efforts, they couldn't mount a comeback. After this, Georgia Tech would go on to lose 2 of their final 3 games, missing the ACC Championship and ruining their chance at a playoff berth. NC State used this as momentum to finish the season 7-5 and dominate Memphis in the Gasparilla Bowl.”
