“Sharks went up 3-0 in the first period, followed by a scoreless second. It was theirs to lose, and they did. The Oilers controlled the whole third period. They got a goal around the one minute mark on a puck that just squeezed through Askarov and was poked in before it could be swatted out. Then the Oilers scored with three minutes left with an empty net/6 on 5. Then they did it again with a minute remaining. Then the Sharks gave a possession away in OT leading to the winning goal where our own defenseman was partially blocking Asky. As upset as I am with this team rn it was a good game. The pity point feels like shit when you were up 2 with three minutes left.”
