Trey Yesavage. All that needs to be said. The rookie with just 14 innings pitched to his name, just put up the best Jays postseason pitching performance since Dave Stieb in 1985. 5 innings of no hit ball while putting up 11 Ks, the most in Blue Jays postseason history. Although I will say the Blue Jays probably should’ve kept him in longer considering they burned through their bullpen after pulling Yesavage. His pitching alone gets a green. The Yankees tried, but it was in vain as the Jays are now 1 win away from their first ALCS appearance since 2015.
