Just to correct the details on the game page, this game was not at Capital One Arena - it was at McDonough Arena on Georgetown’s campus. It was my first time there and I got to see a solid showing from the Hoyas, who completely outmatched Coppin State. No Ed Cooley on the sidelines (water bottle suspension), and no Caleb Williams in the lineup (sick), but it didn’t matter. The Hoyas got pretty much any shot they wanted. Julius Halaifonua and KJ Lewis played well, plus Isaiah Abraham, Jayden Fort, and Mason Moses all turned in career-high scoring efforts. For Coppin State, I was impressed by Khali Horton. He hit five threes and looked like a guy we could see in a stronger mid-major league next season.
