Tarik Skubal started for the Tigers and Mitch Spence started for the A’s. The Tigers started the scoring in the top of the 5th off of a Riley Greene RBI single. In the bottom half, Jacob Wilson hit an RBI triple to tie the game, 1-1. In the 6th, the A’s tacked on another from a Daz Cameron RBI single. In the 7th, Greene scored on a Michel Otanez wild pitch to tie it 2-2. There was no more scoring until extra innings. In the 10th, Colt Keith hit an RBI single. In the bottom half, Brent Rooker hit an RBI double to even the score. In the 11th, Parker Meadows hit a 2-RBI double. In the bottom half, Seth Brown hit a two run homer to tie it again at 5-5. In the 12th, Greene hit another RBI single. Rooker hit a sac fly in the bottom half. The Tigers didn’t score in the 13th inning, leaving the door open for a walk off single from Brown off of Beau Brieske.
