A game with 2 of the most entertaining teams in the NHL gives us a visually pleasing experience, big surprise I know. Even with the many Habs injuries, they’re still so much fun to watch, but the Blue Jackets have quietly built a fast and skilled roster. Mainly Werenski who is a part of that amazing-but-not-Makar group of defensemen, just under Quinn Hughes in ranking. Along with him, Urlrot’s favourite player Kirill Marchenko is so sick. Looked like the Blue Jackets would hang on but Lane Hutson said no and sent it to OT. In that OT, it was Jet Greaves who would be the star as he made sure the Habs couldn’t steal it. While the shootout is still a scourge, the skill on both sides made it kind of fun. Kent Johnson’s goal especially was nasty. It came down to Marchenko and Demidov. Marchenko beat Dobes, Greaves beat Demidov. Great win for Columbus in a great game.
