“Bournemouth loves making it difficult for Manchester City and you have to respect that. Although I am sad they couldn’t pull off the upset, the City comeback made for a great game. Dollar store Pep nearly had a horrendous start to his manager stint at the Etihad only to get bailed out by a couple defenders. Before that, it looked bleak. Despite dominating on the pitch, City couldn’t finish to save their life despite having a certain viking at the top. Haaland got a couple good chances, but failed to capitalize and struggled to get touches on the ball outside of that. Meanwhile the Cherries managed to take one of their few chances and nail it. The Community Shield was not ideal, but losing their first game could’ve sent their supporters into hysterics. Luckily for them (and unluckily for everyone else), Guehi and Gvardiol saved the day after a dramatic VAR check. Massive props to Cherki for the clutch through ball. I feel for the Cherries, but what a dramatic way to start their seasons”
