Osvaldo Bido had a nice start for the A’s, giving up 3 hits and 2 earned runs in 6 innings. A’s scored 6 runs via 4 home runs. Leadoff homer for Lawrence Butler, Seth Brown solo homer in the 4th inning, Brent Rooker solo homer in the 6th inning, and another Seth Brown homer, a three run blast in the 8th to put the A’s back ahead. In the 7th inning, the Reds scored 3 on 2 RBI doubles and an RBI single. The inning was capped off by a Will Benson 3 run homer. Tyler Ferguson pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning to set up Mason Miller in the ninth, where he locked down the save.
