“Once again, Montreal missed all the hurricane warning flags and paid dearly. Carolina had a stranglehold on this game from the very beginning. It was so bad that Hurricanes fans began chanting “Olé, Olé” before the game was even halfway through. To be clear, that first goal was crap, clearly goaltender interference. But you cannot ignore the rest of the game and say Montreal lost because of that call. Stankoven whipped it over Dobeš’s shoulder, Eric Robinson was home-free, Jackson Blake was left all alone and Ghost Bear received a silky smooth pass from Seth Jarvis. Montreal had an incredible run, but they ran into a machine, specifically, Carolina’s 2nd line. Stankoven-Hall-Blake is looking like Ottawa’s Pizza Line (iykyk). They have been incredibly dynamic and nobody can figure out to stop them. This was a sexy blowout and I am very happy for Carolina and Rod. Regardless, it was still a blowout. Sucks this series ended with blowouts, but you can’t say Carolina doesn’t deserve it. ”
