@kingsfan's rating of Athletics vs Blue Jays

@kingsfan rated the Athletics vs Blue Jays game 7.8 out of 10 in MLB on March 27, 2026. Final score: Athletics 2 – Blue Jays 3. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

No ill will towards the defending American League champions Blue Jays for picking the Athletics in this game. It seemed like this lineup was one of the most promoted offenses in this offseason. Now, this very close game does not change anything, but the Athletics have started 0-1. The game started with Severino and Gausman trading great inning after inning, but Shea Langeliers had a solo homer to put the A's up 1-0. Toronto quickly retaliated with 2 runs off a Gimenez triple, making it 2-1 Toronto. Shout-out to Tyler Rogers, a great submariner in the game, always wonderful to see those, didn't give up a run. However, after that, in the top of the 9th, stop if you've heard this one before, Hoffman let up a solo homer, as Langeliers did it again to tie the game. As the bottom of the 9th came, Okamoto (with a fantastic ability to reach base, keep an eye on him) was led home by a Gimenez single to end the Blue Jays' opener on a walk off!
