The Battle of Quebec. Always a joy to see those clean Nordiques colours. Unfortunately for the Nordiques, the Habs saw red and remembered their bloody rivalry of the 80s and 90s. Strangely enough, it didn’t look like that at first. Dobson scored less than a minute in only four Brock Nelson to respond less than 5 minutes later. If not for a couple incredible scrappy goals from Nick Suzuki, this game could’ve easily been tied after the 1st. These extremely fast teams had a rapid back-and-forth, both goalies were getting plenty of action, it felt like the next goal would decide how the rest of this one would go. After more than 15 minutes of this hockey, it took one bad goalie mistake and an easy Jake Evans goal to bust down the floodgates. Dach scored less than a minute later and the Avs never truly recovered. They got more shots, but the Habs kept scoring. They also saw that red so they started pushing around the Nordiques. Xhekaj even fought a Nordiques, refs broke it up sadly.
