“Huge comeback for the Cubs in this one. They've been struggling big time lately and it looked like they would continue against the A's, but a wild 9th inning brings them back from down 6-1 win 7-6. Ian Happ, who has been a major part of those struggles, went yard in the 7th to make it a close game, and then again came up huge in the 9th, starting the scoring with an RBI double. Ballesteros made it a one run game and then Swanson tied it up. I fee like Swanson isn't a guy that gets talked about enough, but he hasn't quite lived up to the 7 year/$25 M AAV hype. He's had an amazing glove, but at the dish, he has hit between .242 and .244 in his first three years in Chicago and is currently hitting .184. And it's not like he has the power to make up for it. He hasn't hit more than 24 home runs in Chicago. He's definitely been solid, but not a guy I'd spend $25 M per year on. Anyways, PCA, another guy who hasn't lived up to last year's expectations, walked it off. Great win for the Cubbies.”
