“This game was awesome. As a neutral fan, this game was filled with action from start to finish. Lots of offense on both sides. First it was Webb, now Skenes gets blown up in his first game of the season. That was a brutal inning. No one would believe you if you said before the season that Paul Skenes would have a 67.5 ERA after game 1 of the season 😳 Thats tough 😂 What’s lost in this game is that Peralta had a bad debut as a Met giving up 4 earned runs in 5 IP. I thought the Mets’ offense looked great. If Luis Robert has a comeback year then this team will be scary. Congrats on Carson Benge having his first hit being a home run. Also shoutout to my boy Brandon Lowe. 2 HRs today and of course he is on my bench in fantasy 😂 ”
