“Holy smokes, the Mets finally won a game! Even though they snapped their 12-game losing streak, there's still not a vibe that they can build momentum. They still continuously strand runners and fail to bank capitalize on big scoring opportunities. They also commit dumb mistakes on a regular basis, such as Vientos running through 3rd base and getting thrown out several steps away from the plate. Oh! And Lindor got hurt. Hope I'm wrong. Long season to go. And Soto just returned. But this is just a brief sigh of relief. The bright side is at least for one night we can enjoy a Mets win.”
