“Absolutely electric Battle of Chicago! By all means this game should not have been so close and yet it was. Every time each side seemed destined to win, there was a swerve. Amazing what happens when both the North and Southside teams are good. It was a fantastic start for the Cubs. 2 strikeouts in the top of the 1st followed up with back-to-back home runs to start the bottom of the same inning. Seemed like the Cubs may run away with it, only for the White Sox to capitalize on their few opportunities with home runs. After 8 and a half back and forth innings, it all came down to the bottom of the 9th. Busch came inches away from tying it up. Bregman walked, Happ walked and Hoerner immediately tied it up. The White Sox nearly We even had a clutch ABS call in extras when the White Sox kept their inning alive, only to lose it on the next batter with the bases loaded. No other way this game could end than a PCA walk off homer. He started and ended this game with a home run. An awesome game! ”
