@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Lightning vs Canadiens

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Lightning vs Canadiens game 9.3 out of 10 in NHL on May 1, 2026. Final score: Lightning 1 – Canadiens 0. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Remember what I said about 0-0 games being awesome? May I present to you exhibit A. The Bell Centre hits differently. Every moment feels like the biggest moment in that place, which makes this kind of game PERFECT for this arena. Both Vasilevskiy and Dobes made it nearly impossible to score tonight. Hell, the goal that ended it took 3-4 whacks to finally beat Dobes. Fittingly a scrappy effort ends a game full of guts. Neither team wanted to give up an inch. There were times when Montreal controlled play and other times when Tampa was in control. Sure, Montreal’s turns were longer, but neither team knew the meaning of the word quit. I could gush about the creativity of Lane Hutson or Kucherov’s craftiness or virtually every D-man on both teams. But let’s face it, at its core, this was a goalie duel. Vasi and Dobes going back and forth with crazy saves just ratcheting up the drama. In some ways it’s a shame one of them had to lose. On the plus side, we get game 7 in this epic series.
