“Blue Jackets get a big win and are breathing a sigh of relief because they avoided choking another lead. Speaking of that failed comeback. Ohhhh noooo, you’re telling me the Florida Panthers caught a tough break and lost in part because of a controversial goaltender interference call, I feel so bad. When will things finally go their way? Passive-aggressiveness aside, Florida did play the Jackets really tough, they just couldn’t beat Jet Greaves until it was too late. Ekblad had one of his better games of the season, stifling Columbus’s offense while contributing with assists on both of Florida’s goals. For the Jackets, Provorov played well without the dynamic Werenski, putting up 3 points of his own. Olivier and Jenner supplied the goals alongside him and as mentioned before, Jet Greaves was wonderful and could’ve gotten the shutout had the Panthers not screened him well. Even though I made fun of the Panthers earlier, it’s a bummer that a goal review basically decided this game.”
