Another gritty playoff game; except with more dominant relievers and a small comeback that actually got completed. Another good start to a series. Cubs went down early and I was thinking I was going to be just 1 of many that missed Cade Horton. But all it took was a home run from Suzuki to change the momentum and then a homer from Kelly right after got Chicago rocking! Boyd wasn’t dominant, but he got the job done and the bullpen did the rest, with help from slick defensive plays. Xander Bogaerts was easily San Diego’s best batter and he was fittingly the final out in dramatic fashion.
