Texans were able to build a lead on offense before letting themselves settle in and have the defense play to protect the lead, and that should be their strategy going forward. The defense has the talent that you can afford to do that. Chargers had a chance to win this game and likely their division but they blew it with red-zone picks, 4 missed points off kicks, and penalties at the worst time. They also couldn’t stop the Texans pass rush from getting home five times. Just a poor performance against a team that seemed to just want it more.
