The Blue Jackets complete the comeback on the back of a former Wolverine with some help from Urlrot’s favourite player, Marchenko. A tremendous back-and-forth game where I honestly couldn’t tell who was gonna win this game. Part of that was poor goaltending on both sides, but the other part of it was both sides just pestering their opponent in the offensive zones. Patrick Kane with a bit of a throwback performance but Lucas Raymond was a problem for the Blue Jackets. As a Flames fan, I’m obviously always happy to see Monahan doing good things and Werenski was fabulous. I felt like Werenski was out there for 35 minutes and I mean that in a good way. The OT was kind of a bummer ngl, but the shootout was pretty good to weirdly make up for it and Marchenko ended it. Although Kent Johnson using his signature move was cool to see too.
