Objectively, this was an amazing comeback win for Sunderland, but wow is that a huge disappointment. This was a very even game with not a ton happening in the first half. The second half was crazy fun though! It started with a penalty that went Brentford’s way, but it was unfortunately saved. Thankfully for the Bees, even though they had to wait a while, they broke through in the 77th minute on a nice goal from Igor Thiago! Everything was looking great for a couple minutes before Sunderland was awarded a penalty of their own. They of course were able to convert it, but Brentford was still in line to earn a point. That was until the dying seconds of this match. Sunderland would score on a chance extremely deep into stoppage time to steal this win. Horrible end to this game for Brentford, but this was an amazing game from a neutral point of view
