@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Panthers vs Badgers

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Panthers vs Badgers game 9.3 out of 10 in CBB on March 19, 2026. Final score: Panthers 83 – Badgers 82. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Just a great close game between both schools that clearly want this BADLY. High Point is clearly looking to pay homage to their name by reaching the highest point possible in this game and the tournament at-large. High Point was a well-oiled machine. They didn’t shoot particularly well, but they’re fought hard on the boards and played scrappy defense. Meanwhile, Wisconsin was relying almost entirely on 1 man. Blackwell and Boyd showed up. Alternating their dominance by halves. Looked like anyone’s game after the 1st half. It stayed anyone’s game throughout the 2nd half, even when it looked like Wisconsin was restoring order. No matter what lead Wisconsin would get, High Point would hit a couple shots and make it close once again. Rob Martin was apart of that more often than not. Martin’s best players may have come at the end when he tipped it to Chase Johnston for his first 2-pointer of the year for the game winner, then the Panthers got a block to seal it. Amazing stuff.
