“Mexico has a perfect group stage. And every game was pretty close to perfect. Lads didnt even give up a single goal. Czechia just was awful taking shots tonight and Mexico got them to go in. It was awesome hearing the fans in Monterrey cheer for Mexico goals even if they were not in Mexico City to watch this one. And while Ochoa didn't start this game in net while being 2-0 up he was subbed on and finished the game. That's awesome to see as he has meant so much to Mexico Futbol for basically his whole career. First half didnt see any goals but the second half the Mexicans decided to wake up. Chavez, Quinones, and Fidalgo all scoring. Fidalgos was with 2 minutes left to play and really capped off a great group. Czechia was very disappointing this group stage. Only having 2 goals. Group A had 4 continents in the 4 teams in the group and it was just a very fun, exciting, and entertaining bunch. This is a group I will be nostalgic about. Pure football.”
