“The Stars had to escape the fires and the flames in order to get 2 more points in their race for the top seed in the west. Calgary did not make it easy for them and I can’t be mad at them for that. Suniev makes his return to the NHL and didn’t do much Ngl. Honestly, I’m just happy he’s getting more of a run. Fortunately; we have other young guys thriving. The Flames have really found something with this group. Exciting for next season, not ideal right now, but I can only be optimistic. Zayne Parekh in particular is seriously looking like the guy we thought he could be when he was drafted. That goal on the powerplay to put Calgary up 3-1 was beautiful, just gliding around the blue line before zipping it in the corner. Very excited to see more of that next season. After Parekh, scored, the Flames executed a masterful tank by letting Dallas score 2 quick goals. Cooley stood tall and this game went to OT where Strome committed a double minor to help boost Cooley’s stats and lose. Excellent”
