Osvaldo Bido started the game for the Athletics, while Logan Gilbert started for the Mariners. In the 1st, Cal Raleigh hit a 2-run homer to take a 2-0 lead. In the 3rd, Julio Rodriguez hit a sac fly to extend the lead to 3-0. In the bottom half of the 3rd, Brent Rooker hit an RBI double to make it a 3-1 game. JJ Bleday walked. Then Shea Langeliers hit a 3-run homer to take a 4-3 lead. In the 6th, Justin Turner hit a game tying RBI single. The A’s brought in their bullpen, who shut down the M’s the rest of the game. In the bottom of the 9th, Shea Langeliers came up to the plate against Mariners pitcher Austin Voth. Shea belted a walk off home run down the left field line for his second homer of the game. The Mariners outhit the A’s 6-5, but the A’s got more out of their opportunities than the M’s.
