Absolute decimation and total obliteration. This started out somewhat close, but everything changed when the Pistons went on a 14-3 run to end the 1st quarter; which was capped off by Daniss Jenkins’s 3 pointer. After that, the Pistons were relentless in their domination and the Knicks never had a chance. No Knick defined the woes better than Jalen Brunson who went 4/20 from the field and only scored 12 points. Bridges was the only Knick that managed to show up, everyone else could’ve been invisible and there would’ve been basically no difference. After the 1st quarter, even though the Pistons only added to their lead, they basically coasted for 36 minutes. It was strange. They won by nearly 40 and nobody scored more than 20 points. If you ignored the final score and only looked at Cade’s box score, you’d say he was off. Not like he was dominant on the court anyway. Such a weird game. The worst kind of blowout. A blowout that decided the game early and led to 75% garbage time.
