The Mariners' offense erupted early and maintained pressure throughout the game. In the fifth inning, Jorge Polanco delivered a three-run home run off rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage, giving Seattle a 6–3 lead. The Mariners extended their advantage in the sixth with an RBI single by J.P. Crawford, increasing the lead to 7–3. In the seventh inning, Polanco added another single, setting the stage for Josh Naylor's two-run homer, pushing the score to 9–3. Eugenio Suárez later scored on a sacrifice fly by Crawford, capping the Mariners' scoring at 10 runs. Seattle's pitching staff, including starter Logan Gilbert, who pitched three innings, and the bullpen, which held the Blue Jays to just three runs, effectively neutralized Toronto's offense. Despite a strong start, Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage struggled, allowing five runs over four innings.

Second part of my rating: With a 2–0 lead in the ALCS, the Mariners have shifted the momentum in their favor. The series now moves to Seattle, where the Mariners will look to extend their advantage and move closer to their first World Series appearance in team history
