@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Hurricanes vs Senators
@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Hurricanes vs Senators game 7.8 out of 10 in NHL on April 25, 2026. Final score: Hurricanes 4 – Senators 2. R1. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.
“The Hurricanes impose their will and complete the sweep in a very violent game. The Senators were clearly ticked off and Rod the Bod wasn’t going to let his guys back down from that kind of business. This wasn’t dead-puck era levels of physicality, but it harkened back to it. It all boiled over in the 2nd period when Kleven laid that nasty hit. The brawl that ensued became a turning point. It wasn’t long until Taylor Hall scored the first goal of the game. Luckily Ottawa matched it shortly after to keep this game tense. It all came down to the 3rd. After some slow play, Logan Stankoven, Carolina’s MVP of the series, scored to break the deadlock. That might as well be the series winning goal. There was a strange goal fest in the final minutes, but it didn’t matter. Carolina moves on. Gotta feel for Ullmark. Gets criticized all season, saves his best hockey for the playoffs, plays fantastic and still gets swept. Carolina was just too much and had their own great goaltender to match him. ”
