“Obviously much of the talk will be about Shedeur and his debut, so I will get it out of the way. He was fine. He had his moments, much cleaner than his debut and outplayed Geno, but he was just alright. Now that is done, I REALLY want to talk about the Browns defense because HOLY COW they bullied the Raiders and Geno Smith. Myles Garrett continues to terrorize backfields and his presence helps the other browns D-linemen pounce. Maliek Collins got 2.5 sacks of his own AND a fumble recovery. Devin Bush and Isaiah McGuire got to have their own parties in the Raiders’ backfield. Even Mike Hall had a brief get-together with Collins. Geno was probably not gonna have a good game, but he had no chance with all the pressure on him. Let’s not forget about Schwesinger, looking like a total stud as a rookie and seemingly always in Jeanty’s way on every run. This game wasn’t great, I know that, but you gotta appreciate good defense.”
