It was very clear that both teams were tired from their game last night; they each had a period-period and a half where they looked decent before looking gassed by the end of the game. Combining their endurance woes and the fact that these are two defensive minded teams, means you get a back and forth affair that gets both netminders a shutout. The Islanders deserve the win but Kraken goaltending will drag this team to points kicking and screaming if it's the last thing they do. It's not sustainable, but it's entertaining in its frustration. I just like more scoring in my hockey games. All that said, a 5/8 point road trip for the Kraken; I'm not complaining too loudly.
