The American heros Thompson and Hughes have a classy moment in the pregame ceremony and then they each get on the score sheet with points including Thompson saying thank you on a bad turnover by Hughes and passing it to his teammate for the second goal of the game. This game had a ferocious ending with the devils pushing. The devils are back in action tonight vs the penguins. The sabres play the Panthers tomorrow
