@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Capitals vs Bruins

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Capitals vs Bruins game 7.1 out of 10 in NHL on March 7, 2026. Final score: Capitals 1 – Bruins 3. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

It is clear the departure of John Carlson is still affecting the Capitals. They didn’t come out scared, but they played a more conservative and careful game. Luckily for them, it was the kind of play that Boston matched in the first half of this matchup. Aside from a couple scrambled in front of Thompson, Boston also played quite conservatively until a little over half way through the 3rd. Whether it was physical exhaustion, emotional exhaustion or a little bit of both, the Bruins took over and dictated pace. Logan Thompson did a great job keeping the Caps in it and Swayman made sure the Capitals couldn’t take the lead back themselves. It came down to 2 giveaways and a poorly timed line change to send Arvidsson away and he scored the winner. Washington couldn’t generate any momentum after that and the Bruins held on to the win. Both goalies were wonderful. Pasta had a great game, even though all his shots didn’t lead to a goal and I really enjoyed watching the Lindholm in this game.
