Virginia was a team that nobody was talking about that kind of just came out of nowhere. They are now winners of 9 straight and absolutely destroyed NC State who will be in the tournament (I think). Depending on the draw, I could see this team making a deep run. Ik they haven’t played the best teams but their wins recently have been QUALITY wins. Also, their head coach used to be UMBC’s coach, who beat Virginia as a 16 seed in the 2018 tournament. In his first season coaching Virginia, he has put them back into the spotlight and has helped them get off to their best start since they won the national championship in 2019. I do not think they will get upset in the first round but after that it depends on who they get. Right now they are currently projected as a 4 seed. 3 out of the 4 five seeds are SEC schools which they could struggle against because of their faster play style and they would probably have to play a 1 seed in the sweet 16. But I really like Virginia and they r dangerous.
