Overall, just a good game and I am glad Robert Thomas is okay. The Utah Mammoth, while very fun to watch, are very top-heavy and this game is proof of that. Nick Schmaltz and Clayton Keller did the heavy lighting offensively. Both dynamic forwards had 3 points, only other multi-point game came from their line-mate Lawson Crouse. Schmaltz was the first to breakthrough for Utah which was ironic considering the Blues were killing them in that first period and seemingly got pissed and dominated even more after that goal. It was no use tho. 2nd period was awesome, lots of back and forth hockey. Not as many shots, but more even play. Crouse and Sundqvist scored in less than 10 seconds apart. Durzi tried to ease the tension with a goal, but Buchnevich made this interesting with a beautiful tic-tac-toe goal. However, the 3rd period started horribly with Robert Thomas slamming his face into the ice off a scary looking fall due to a freak accident. Luckily, he was okay, but the Blues looked off.
