“This was a fun game even if the Galaxy did unfortunately look good, but that might’ve been for the best. San Jose is definitely more threatening to LAFC than Carson is so it is probably better that they didn’t force the tie. It really didn’t look like the Galaxy were going to be the team in control though because LA received a red card at the end of first half! Somehow, they would bounce back from that and keep it very close through the second half! The Galaxy got some good chances, and they actually got the one and only goal of the match while down a man! The Quakes got some really great chances for the tie to close out this match, but Carson is able to hold on for the surprising win! How did San Jose look on par with a 10 man team”

This was a pretty poor showing from LAFC, but they are somehow able to come away with a point! There wasn’t a whole ton of opportunities in the first half. The second half more than made up for it though! St. Louis opened the scoring less than 10 minutes into it, but LAFC was able to even it back up in the 70th minute! St Louis was then booked for a red card so it seemed like the Black & Gold were gaurenteed at least a point until they gave up an own goal. LAFC came so close to coming away with nothing in this match, but they are thankfully able to salvage it as Denis Bouanga found his second goal of the night in the 95th minute! I love the miraculous comeback although I am not thrilled they were in that situation to begin with

What a comeback from LAFC! This game looked like a lost cause early as it looked like they were going to be trailing by a pair going into halftime, but they were able to bite into that lead in the 45th minute! They ended up tying it too right before the 20 minute mark of the second half too! Unfortunately for them, the Timbers were able to take back the lead on a penalty two minutes later. Portland did a great job holding off the LAFC attack for almost the entire rest of the game, but they would give up a penalty right before stoppage time! Bouanga converted it as the Black & Gold steal a point!
