“Considering how this one started alongside how the Blues’ has gone so far, it’s really surprising managed to do much more than keep up with the Kraken. They managed to win with the rare GGP: Great Goaltending Performance. They especially needed that down the stretch. Throughout the 3rd, Seattle would hang on the puck for longer stretches, leading up to the final few minutes when it felt like the puck was never not on the stick of a Kraken player. It was up to Joel Hofer to save the day and he did exactly that. If that was his audition to be St. Louis’s #1 goalie of the future, I’d say he passed. At the very least, he earned the opportunity to be considered. Besides Hofer, the Blues can thank Robert Thomas. A great performance that surely raised his trade value in real-time. Brayden Schenn had a throwback performance with 3 assists and Logan Mailloux made a guest appearance to let Blues fans pretend that Bolduc wasn’t stupid af. Ironically, former Blue Vince Dunn nearly tied it.”

Considering how this one started alongside how the Blues’ has gone so far, it’s really surprising managed to do much more than keep up with the Kraken.
