“Houston’s journey to redemption continues with little trouble. As the commentators pointed out; Houston’s athleticism, length and defense that give many teams trouble. The offense wasn’t great, the defense was. A&M looked like they would present a challenge for about 10 minutes. After that, the Cougars put them in their place, devoured their opponent and played around with the remains afterwards. Texas A&M went nearly for the last 7 minutes of the first half. They couldn’t even hit a shot in that time until the final seconds, making it a 20-4 run in favour of Houston in the final 7 minutes. That run helped put the Cougars 18-points clear ahead of the Aggies, which allowed them to coast in the 2nd half and cruise to an easy win. Josh Holloway was the only Aggie with multiple shots to shoot above 50%. Meanwhile, Cenac put up a quick 17 and 9. Emanuel Sharp led the way in scoring with 18. Uzan overcame poor 3-point shooting to put up 15 and Tugler had more blocks than A&M did combined. ”
